GALINHA DE ANGOLA

Features

They live in the forests of acacias, desert and savannah. They are extremely active animals, living in flocks and nesting in the soil. They feed on grains, fruits, seeds, insects and small reptiles. Are constant prey of lions, leopards, jackals, foxes and birds of prey.
Geographical Distribution

Originating in Africa, living across the West Coast. Were introduced at the time of Portuguese colonization in other countries, like Brazil, where they are sometimes found small bands living in the wild, yet not part of the fauna of our country.
